Society of Authors and Publishers of Scientific Papers UNIVERSITAS was founded in 1989 by research workers of Jagiellonian University.

UNIVERSITAS is of the most important and the most valued academic publishing houses in Poland. We specialize in publishing scientific and popular science books in the field of humanities, with particular emphasis on the history and theory of literature, art history, language studies, philosophy and photography. An important part of our offer includes historical books, album publications and textbooks for learning Polish as a foreign language.
